24,000 Kalinga Packs for Jeepney, Tricycle, and UV Express Drivers donated by SM Foundation

SM Foundation distributes 24,000 Kalinga packs—each containing 5kg of rice and food essentials—to jeepney, tricycle and UV Express drivers across the country due to route disruptions caused by COVID-19.

Members of 20 Tricycle Operators and Drivers Associations (TODA) and nine Multicab and Jeepney organizations in Puerto Princesa City received their Kalinga packs from SM City Puerto Princesa on August 18-19, 2020.

This effort forms part of Operation Tulong Express (OPTE), a social good program of SM Foundation in collaboration with SM Supermalls and SM Markets to address the needs of communities during calamities and crisis.
